My Story
I’m Brendan Clements, an actor and screenwriter with a passion for creating stories that entertain, challenge, and connect with audiences.
My work is rooted in character. Whether I’m performing on stage, developing an original screenplay, or exploring a scene on camera, I’m drawn to stories with depth, honesty, and emotional truth. I believe the strongest performances come from understanding what drives a character beneath the surface, and I bring that same focus to my writing.
My acting journey has included theatre work with Clear Space Theatre in Delaware, including A Midsummer Night’s Dream, as well as training with The NY Acting School for Film & TV, Clear Space Theatre Company, Actors Connection, Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, Ward Acting Studio, and the New York Film Academy. Through that training, I’ve studied film, television, theatre, improv, scene work, and character development with a commitment to growing as both a performer and storyteller.
Before pursuing acting and screenwriting, I served in the Army and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland. That background gave me discipline, perspective, and a strong understanding of human behavior, all of which continue to shape the way I approach characters and storytelling.
As a performer, I bring a wide range of physical and vocal skills, from accents and stage combat to martial arts, athletics, and character voices. As a writer, I’m focused on developing original screenplays with unique narratives, layered characters, and stories that can resonate on screen and beyond.
For me, acting and writing are about more than entertainment. They are about creating moments that feel real, memorable, and human.
